Dr. Corey Bearss grew up in Ontario and was very active as a child, participating in volleyball, basketball, baseball, golf and judo. He fell in love with Chiropractic by accident after an injury that was actually a blessing in disguise. In grade 9 he was thrown in Judo and struggled to get off the mats. The following day, Dr. Corey was given his first adjustment and experienced immediate relief. At that moment he knew that Chiropractic was his calling. He felt the power of a Chiropractic Adjustment first hand and realized the potential to help people in need through natural, effective means.
From that moment, Dr. Corey shifted his studies to be geared towards the field of healing and Chiropractic. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. After graduation, he started his studies in Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.
Dr. Corey developed a solid foundation in exercise, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Through extra seminars and personal research, he has developed an understanding of how stress from physical, chemical, and psychological means can impact the integrity of the nervous system and limit the body’s ability to adapt. The ability to control this factor has the potential for you to move well and live in a healthier and more vibrant state, rather than being in chronic pain and fatigued.
